The
Artist has a
responsibility in front of his fellow man. In an epoca axis such as ours,
where spiritual values are constantly oscillating, where civilization is
threatened with death, were we are invaded with an obsession for profit,
gain and pleasure which condemns its own feelings of art, he should
pass between them and their slogans. The artist is the last to know that
certain truths neither value money or priveleges - They are without price.
Because we are in a century of speed and consumption, we should say: Watch
the wheat grow, Observe all of life. Only the artist, cannot remake
humanity, but at least should know through his silent search that the luck
of everyone plays itself out here and there in all parts.
Alfred Manessier.
Considering that it took several years of studies at the School of Visual
Arts Cristobal Rojas, in Caracas where i obtained a "title" in
art. The intent of my
artistic expression is not to intentionally communicate a message through my
art but only to tell a spontaneous idea or feel from my soul, in the style nearest to Naif (naives).
I do not mean to offend anyone or distort reality, quite the contrary,
in my style I interpret reality and nonreality in an manner that is
optimistic,
cheerful, peaceful and as fresh as possible . My paintings are characterized
by colors bright and surrealistic, in an unscientific perspective which remains
detached from the classic styles, schools and vanguards.
My paintings are based upon the freedom to express creativity in all of its facets,
in this activity I discover the relationship of each form expressed, through
my consciousness and the collective consciousness. Each of my works is
like unto a personal mandala. It's like starting a journey that opens the doorway
for the return to myself, to be free, and to connect with deeper dimensions
beyond the physical world and thus escape from mediocrity and ordinariness
of everyday life.
